Wrocław Medical University (UMED) is one of the largest universities in the country and has the best technology and renowned lecturers. You start your English-language studies at a high level and benefit from the institution’s 300 years of medical history. In addition, the allocation of study places takes place by committee decision alone; grades do not play a role. Tuition fees for human medicine are about € 5,880 per semester, while they are about € 6,380 in dentistry and € 4,000 in veterinary medicine. There are also other costs, such as admission fees. Wrocław Medical University has an impressive historical background going back more than 300 years. The university pioneered many new treatments and surgical techniques. In 2003, it began offering instruction in English. The programmes are popular, especially among Swedes, Britons, Canadians, and Germans. Many of them come to Wrocław each year to study. After all, having class in English makes things easier to understand. The requirements for studying in the home of such Nobel Prize winners as Robert Koch are given. After the first year, students spend one month each year in special clinical training. The Faculty of Human Medicine offers many on-going international exchanges through various programmes. At the same time, the amount of time spent in practical clinical settings continues to grow. Students receive intensive assistance during their training. After the first year, students spend one month each year in special clinical training where they complete a practical unit each year. The Faculty of Dentistry has been training dentistry professionals for more than 60 years. Many of them graduate with top marks. The faculty is one of just three dental schools in the country.
