Studying in Bratislava
Bratislava is the capital of Slovakia and is therefore part of the European Union. The city is right in the heart of Europe. You’ll quickly find your way around Bratislava, a city of just 400,000 inhabitants.
The city offers the same quality of life as at home at a lower cost of living. And the Austrian capital of Vienna is just 50 km away. Bratislava reflects the influence of many different European cultures, and lies on the borders with Austria and Hungary, the only national capital that borders two neighbouring countries at the same time. This means you’re just a ten-minute walk from Austria (and less than an hour from Vienna). The town is also characterised by well-preserved, historic buildings and modern architecture. Bratislava is situated in the warmest region of the country with little precipitation and the Danube and the adjacent parks provide perfect opportunities to escape into nature. The Janko Kral Garden is one of Europe’s oldest parks.
